Without further ado, below is every Kenny Omega title defense as AEW World Champion, ranked by the users of Cagematch.net.

7 Vs. Rich Swann - Impact Wrestling Rebellion 2021 (7.01)

At Impact Wrestling Rebellion 2021, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega faced off against Impact World Champion Rich Swann in a title vs. title match. According to Dave Meltzer this match was a four and a half stars match, but cagematch.net users don't think this match was that good.

Frankly the match had several botches and sloppy spots, it seemed that they didn't have much chemistry, besides, Swann looked a bit nervous and at times he couldn't keep up with Omega. On the other hand, the storytelling was excellent, Omega and Swann made this simple story work very well. In the end, Kenny Omega defeated Rich Swann and became Impact World Champion, thus holding three titles at the same time.

6 Vs. Jon Moxley - Revolution 2021 (7.65)

On this occasion, Kenny Omega defended the AEW World Title in an Exploding Barbed Wire Death match against Jon Moxley. This match was everything you could expect, violent, brutal, bloody and insane, something that you don’t see every day.

Nevertheless, it was overbooked, with unnecessary interferences, especially from Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, but it was cool to see Eddie Kingston helping Moxley. The match was epic, with admirable performances from Omega and Moxley, enduring a lot of pain, and putting body and soul into this battle, but the ending was disappointing, and the explosion was simply laughable.

5 Vs. Christian Cage – All Out 2021 (8.22)

518 cagematch.net users have rated this match, averaging 8.22 out of 10, which is outstanding. The story of this match is great, with Christian Cage showing his intelligence and cunning against a much more powerful and faster Kenny Omega. The in-ring psychology was excellent as well, and overall, this match was very well executed.

The match had a nice pacing, as it lasted 21 minutes and never felt boring. It looked like Christian would get the win after hitting the Killswitch, but Omega kicked out at 2.9, then Omega recovered and performed the One Winged Angel to defeat Cage and retain the title.

4 Vs. Jungle Boy – Saturday Night Dynamite (8.48)

We know that Kenny Omega can have a tremendous match with anyone, as he can make anyone look great, but in this case, Jungle Boy deserves a lot of credit, as he had a star-making performance. It was a golden opportunity for Jungle Boy, and despite being defeated, he didn't waste it and showed all his talent here.

The match worked to perfection, with an ideal babyface-heel dynamic and also highlighted expertise against youth. The in-ring action was amazing from start to finish, with brilliant spots and fluid sequences. Kenny Omega emerged victorious, but Jungle Boy walked away with his head held high.

3 Vs. Rey Fenix – Dynamite (8.88)

On Dynamite's New Year's Smash, Kenny Omega defended the title against Rey Fenix. This match was absolutely incredible, with perfect pacing and back-and-forth action from bell to bell. These two guys have way too many moves in their arsenal, so it's no wonder they performed so many great spots, like Fenix's picture-perfect Cutter, although there were perhaps too many chops.

This was a flawless match, typical from these two exceptional workers. Rey Fenix kicked out of three V-Triggers, but couldn't kick out of the One Winged Angel, even though he tried with his last bit of strength. After 17 exciting minutes, The Cleaner was the winner of this memorable bout.

2 Vs. Orange Cassidy Vs. PAC – Double Or Nothing 2021 (8.90)

This was one of the best matches in Double Or Nothing history, and that’s saying something, since many awesome matches took place in that PPV. Some fans thought Orange Cassidy shouldn’t be in the match, as his character does not make him a credible contender, but he showed that he has what it takes to fight for a World Title.

PAC played his part too, with his intense wrestling style, showing off great offense. And Kenny Omega, well, was Kenny Omega, it was another day at the office for him. This match was not perfect, though, it had some flaws, like the length and overbooking, perhaps.

1 Vs. Adam Page – Full Gear 2021 (9.28)

Kenny Omega's best title defense as AEW World Champion according to Cagematch.net was against Adam Page at Full Gear 2021. This match was a work of art, a masterpiece, with a long story between Kenny Omega and Adam Page, who were once friends and even tag team champions, but this time they just wanted to destroy each other, fighting not only for the world title, but for pride.
