Robert “Bob” Pittman, an American businessman, has a net worth of $100 million dollars. He began his career in radio broadcasting while still in his early teens and went on to become an announcer for WNBC radio in New York in his early 20s. Pittman founded MTV and oversaw its early years, revamped Nickelodeon for a slightly older audience, and launched VH1 and Nick at Nite.
He founded Quantum Media, which he later sold to Time Warner, and was subsequently made President and CEO of Time Warner Enterprises. Pittman became CEO of Six Flags Theme Parks before leaving to become the CEO of Century 21 Real Estate. He then returned to media work as the President of AOL Networks and America Online, Inc. Later, he co-founded Pilot Group, LLC, a private investment firm.
